Master's thesis at Blekinge Institute of Technology — designed and implemented a custom compaction strategy for Apache Cassandra to optimize storage and read/write performance.
Developed a custom compaction strategy for Apache Cassandra as part of an MSc thesis at Blekinge Institute of Technology, in collaboration with Ericsson. Designed and executed performance testing strategies to evaluate effectiveness across workloads. Deployed and managed multi-node test clusters on IBM Cloud Gen2 VPC using Ansible automation. Collected system performance metrics with Prometheus and visualized results through Grafana dashboards to validate the approach.
